Doc Fill is an app for iOS and Android that fills Word (.docx) templates. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who else touches the data, and how you remove it. If anything here is unclear, write to docfill@dglfactor.tech.

What the app collects

The app does not ask for your contacts, location, calendar, or health data, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
AI auto-markup
When you use AI auto-markup, the .docx you upload is sent to our server, processed by an AI model to detect the fields that need filling in, and returned to you as a template. The file is used for that job and is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to anyone. Do not upload documents that you are not allowed to share with a processor. The rest of the app never sends your documents anywhere except to your own account storage.
Where data is stored
Account data, templates and documents are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage). Firebase servers may be located outside your country, so your data may be transferred internationally. Documents saved by an account are readable only by that account: access rules reject every other request.
Who else processes your data
- Google Firebase - authentication, database, file storage, analytics and crash reporting.
- RevenueCat - subscription and purchase state.
- Apple or Google - the purchase itself, depending on the store the app came from; we never see your payment details.
- Our own server at api.dglfactor.tech, and the AI provider it uses, for auto-markup jobs only.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long data is kept
Your templates and documents are kept while your account exists. Analytics and crash data are kept for the retention period of the Firebase services, currently up to 14 months for analytics events. Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and support.
Deleting your data
Open your profile in the app and choose "Delete account". This removes your profile, your templates and documents together with their files, and clears the local copies on your device. The action cannot be undone. You can also write to docfill@dglfactor.tech and ask for deletion. Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it in the subscription settings of the store you bought it from.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, to object to certain processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to docfill@dglfactor.tech and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
Doc Fill is not directed at children and is not listed in the kids or family categories of either store. The app never asks for anyone's age and has no way to tell how old a user is, so this section describes what happens when we find out rather than how we check.
If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, or under the age of digital consent in their country where that age is higher (13 to 16 across the EU), we delete the account and its data. A parent or guardian can write to docfill@dglfactor.tech and ask us to do the same; we do not require proof beyond enough detail to identify the account.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored under your account with access rules that reject requests from anyone else. No system is perfectly secure, so do not put anything in a document that you would not want a support engineer to see if you send it to us as a bug report.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
