These terms govern your use of Doc Fill on iOS and on Android. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What the app does
Doc Fill turns Word (.docx) documents into forms you can fill in on your phone and returns a finished .docx file. You can use templates provided in the app or add your own, marked up automatically by AI or by hand.
2. No legal advice
Doc Fill is a document tool, not a law firm. Templates and generated documents are not legal advice and are not checked for correctness, completeness or fitness for any particular situation or jurisdiction. You are responsible for what a document says and for the consequences of using it. If a document matters, have a qualified professional review it.
3. Your content
Documents, templates and everything you type into them remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your files under your account and, when you ask for AI auto-markup, to process the file you upload in order to return a marked-up template. You confirm that you have the right to upload each file you upload.
4. Who may use the app, and how
You may use Doc Fill if you can enter into this agreement under the law of your country and are at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services without a parent.
Do not use Doc Fill to create forged documents, to impersonate a person or an organisation, to infringe someone else's rights, or to break the law. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does any of this.
5. Free tier, premium subscription, credits
The free tier includes one template and up to 5 documents on it.
Premium is an auto-renewable subscription offered in monthly and yearly terms. It unlocks unlimited templates and documents, a monthly top-up of credits for AI auto-markup, and sync across devices. The exact price and period are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase, in your local currency.
Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase to the store account you buy through: your Apple ID on iOS, your Google account on Android. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel a subscription in the subscription settings of that store account; deleting the app does not cancel it. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Credits are consumables used only for AI auto-markup. A premium renewal tops your balance up to the stated ceiling rather than adding to it. Credit packs can be bought separately. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not refundable once spent.
Purchases are processed by the store you installed the app from, Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by that store under its own terms; we cannot issue them. On iOS the standard Apple licence terms also apply to the app: Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
6. Availability
The app needs an internet connection for sign-in, sync, AI auto-markup and purchases. We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change between versions.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app at any time. Deletion removes your profile, templates and documents, cannot be undone, and does not cancel an active subscription.
8. Liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any outcome of a document you created with the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
